Yes. The setting must have wifi or an available data connection, but if Naud is used in an area without wifi, data is temporarily stored locally and updated once wifi/connection is restored.

Nursery Quality Index (NQI™)**
The Nursery Quality Index (NQI™) is Naud's continuous quality improvement framework. It helps you monitor your nursery across the 7 inspection areas, identify strengths and highlight opportunities for improvement between inspections.
No. NQI complements Ofsted by helping you monitor quality throughout the year rather than only preparing when an inspection is expected or relying on paper audits.
Scores are generated from completed audits across seven quality areas. They reflect evidence recorded within the system and are updated as new NQI audits are completed.
Evidence
Yes. Evidence such as photographs, PDFs and other documents can be attached to records where appropriate.
Evidence can be viewed during inspections by authorised users with the appropriate permissions. The Evidence hub makes everything easily accessible.
Security
Your data is securely hosted within the UK using industry-standard security measures.

Yes. Managers can log in using laptop and desktop computers. From a laptop or desktop computer the full dashboard and management suite is available.
No. Naud is a web-based Progressive Web App (PWA), so there's nothing to install. Simply sign in through your browser, and you can also add Naud to your device's home screen for quick access.
Data & Reliability
An internet connection is required to use Naud. If connectivity is interrupted, records can be completed temporarily using the mobile device, data is stored locally until connection restores.
